Kakobuy QC Guide — How to Review Quality Control Photos

QC photos are your only chance to catch flaws before an item ships from the Kakobuy warehouse. New QC photos are added to the spreadsheet daily as buyers share their inspections. This guide teaches you what to look for, what flaws are acceptable, and when to request an exchange.

What Are QC Photos

When your item arrives at the Kakobuy warehouse, staff take photos from multiple angles. Standard QC usually includes 3-5 photos: front view, back view, detail shot of logos or branding, and a top-down view. You can pay for extra photos if needed. These photos are uploaded to your order page for review. Experienced buyers recommend requesting extra photos of known flaw areas for high-tier items.

What to Look For in Shoe QC

For shoes, the critical areas are: toebox shape (should not be too boxy or too slim), heel tab alignment and text centering, tongue height and padding density, stitching color and spacing, outsole color accuracy, and insole print quality. Compare these areas against retail photos from StockX or GOAT. Germany buyers recently discussed that the wing logo embossing on Jordan 4s is a common batch flaw to watch.

What to Look For in Clothing QC

For hoodies and jackets, check: embroidery or print quality and alignment, stitching consistency on seams, tag placement and text accuracy, drawstring quality and tip branding, zipper smoothness and logo engraving, and inside wash tag text. Chrome Hearts hoodies are known for cross embroidery placement — any offset is a callout flaw. New QC photos of Chrome Hearts pieces were added to the spreadsheet this week showing improved embroidery alignment.

When to Accept vs Exchange

Minor stitching inconsistencies that are not visible when worn are usually acceptable. Major flaws include: wrong colors, misaligned logos, incorrect tags, and obvious shape issues. For budget items under 200 yuan, some minor flaws are expected. For premium batches over 400 yuan, demand near-perfect QC. The community rule of thumb: if the flaw is noticeable from 3 feet away, exchange it.
